New Label CMDRPX Breaks Into 2022 With ‘CMDRPX Promo Face’

The label delivers two tracks in this promo and announces first vinyl release by Doordie and Digregorius

‘Promo Face’ Cover

CMDRPX (pronounced cimedirapax) is a new mysterious label hailing from Italy - starting from its hermetic and mystic attire, everything about the label speaks volumes for a project that is purely underground. This project was launched with a VA in 2021, and this year is seeing CMDRPX with two new releases already on the table.

The label starts 2022 with ‘CMDRPX Promo Face’, a two-tracker on the parallel project of the label, anticipating the first vinyl release of the imprint. On the first track, you got neat and heavy bass, powerful synth leads and a steady kick creating a psychedelically hard effect, and the second follows a similar sound but moves towards electro with its central snare takeover and robotic-commando voices.

We are very happy to premiere in full this second track of the release, ‘Invierno Under Command’:

While Promo Face focuses on heavy underground electro, the first vinyl record also incorporates some softer sound; especially in the first two tracks, Doordie delivers some highly interesting groovers, first with the italo-infused synths of ‘Astral Live’ and then with the obscure tech-house of ‘Q+++’. On the b-side Digregorius doesn’t let down the expectations with some more industrial electro magic, first on the robotic landscapes of ‘Le Bataleur’ and then with the dancing liturgy of ‘Sonidos Espaciales De Aver Hoy’; overall a record not to miss.

Considering both releases CMDRPX enters 2022 with a powerful statement, making it an underground label that should surely be followed into the new year.
We surely look forward to more releases!

The masters of the releases are done by Mattia Lapucci (Burbidub). Graphic designs by Enrico Franzosa. Both CMDRPX Promo Face and CMDRPX001 will be out soon.
