S. Moreira Picks 7 Jazzy Tracks That Represent The O Mato X Slow Life Festival

Sergio sets the vibe for concert side of things on the upcoming 24 hours festival happening just outside Berlin

Enter the world of Slow Life and O Mato as the two organizations bring forth an extraordinary 24-hour open-air musical extravaganza happening just on the outskirts of Berlin. The festival will involve the first part of the day with live concerts, welcoming Bossanova and fusion Brazilian legend Marcos Valle, as well as acts like Kaidi Tatham, Cami Laye Okun, and a live band led by S. Moreira himself. The nighttime will then feature DJ sets with the likes of Desyn, Matthias, Laruine, Cecilio, plus a chill stage as well.

To give us a feel of the concert part of the festival is none other than the esteemed Sergio Moreira of Slow Life, curating an eclectic mix of jazzy tracks for Guerrilla Bizarre. Marcos Valle - Mentira

My favourite Marcos Valle track from my favourite album of his, I can not wait to hear this classic, live on the daytime concert stage during sunset.

Azymuth - Rico Suave Bossa Nova

An amazing that reminds me of the amazing concert we experienced last year on the island with Azymuth. Interestingly enough it is Azymuth paying homage and respect to J Dilla. It also has J. Rock, Madlib, and others doing the background vocals. There is a great documentary from the early 2000s when all these hip-hop legends (Madlib, Cut Chemist, Dj Babu) met the Brazilian legends.

Kaidi Tatham - Two Tens Madam

All time favourite by the legendary Kaidi Tatham, godfather of broken beat, but active in so many different genres. It will be interesting to hear his DJ set whether he will play some of his productions or more of his influences. He will be closing the stage so all of us can not wait to see what he has up his sleeve.

Indi Zone - Comtessa Slice

Santi aka Indi Zone will also be playing the daytime stage, we all know he will bring a very special bag of tunes for this occasion.

S. Moreira Band - O Funk do Mato

Right after Indi Zone I will perform with my band. This track symbolises a fruitful collaboration with the O Mato family. We have been working on lots of new material, so looking forward to showing everyone.

Booster - Manzana

A wonderful Tune that represents the daytime stage as well. Summer, sun and good vibes on the 29th of July.

Cymande - The Message

Another track that will be representative of the vibe of the concert stage by the great band Cymande.
